Every time you use your sink, garbage disposal, flush a toilet, take a shower, or run your washing machine, you add a small amount of water and waste to the septic tank. Sludge and other sediments slowly accumulate in the tank while the water enters the drainfield and leaches into the ground.
Over the course of 3-5 years these layers of sediment and sludge accumulate on the bottom and the sides and eventually fills the tank. Now it’s time for a pump out, or septic tank cleaning.
If you ignore it your septic tank will eventually back up into your home and yard.
Make sure you schedule regular septic tank pumping every 3-5 years to avoid a septic tank disaster.
Septic Tank Cleaning Broward County
Once you schedule your pump out, we will arrive promptly at the scheduled appointment time unless we are running behind. In that case, we’ll give you a call to let you know. We will need to know where the tank is located if we haven’t been to your home before.Make sure that any pets are locked up and also ensure no children are playing around the area we will be working. We will do our best to keep your landscape unharmed.
We do run a hose from the truck to the tank and do our best to make sure it isn’t running through any flower beds or garden areas.Once we empty, or pump out the septic tank, we’ll do a visual inspection inside to make sure everything is sound. After the tank inspection, we’ll replace the cover, bury the tank cover again and be on our way.If there is any grass covering the opening to the tank, we cannot make any promises that it will survive the dig BUT we will do our best to keep the area around it from being damaged.
